About Surveylab
Surveylab Limited provides online survey design, hosting and reporting solutions for all types of research including customer satisfaction, employee surveys and market research.
We have fielded surveys for the likes of Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank, BAA, Eaga PLC, Marie Stopes International and Raisingkids.co.uk. Surveylab are also the technical team behind a number of research agencies' online survey services, fielding online surveys for TV and media companies, global brands and motor manufacturers to highlight but a few.
Started in 2003 by Dan Wardle and John Kemp, Surveylab remains a small, friendly company able to offer flexibility that bigger agencies or automated services cannot.
About the principals
Dan Wardle and John Kemp first worked together in 1999 at the research agency TARP Europe, specialising in customer satisfaction measurement. It was here that Dan coded his first survey and went on to mastermind product development of TARP's internet survey offering and later data warehousing strategy.
Dan still helps at the sharp-end coding/managing clients' surveys. His aim in starting the company was to build usable online survey tools (it still is), but in the last 4 years Surveylab has found a niche in helping clients to field better designed online surveys.
After a career in financial services, John was National Customer Care Manager for Abbey National. He then moved into consulting and was Head of European Consulting for TARP. He has also served as Executive Director and has been a past president of SOCAP (Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals).
John has also presented at conferences and led customer care focused workshops throughout Europe, the Middle East and North America and has published numerous articles in publications such as Customer Management and the International Journal of Customer Relationship Management.
John is responsible for Surveylab's marketing and customer support. He is usually the first point of contact for new business and provides day to day support to our customers. John also provides consulting assistance to projects requiring specialist reporting or analysis particularly in the area of customer and employee satisfaction and loyalty.

Our surveys and online reports are hosted on our web-servers, maintained and installed at Global Switch Data Centre in Docklands, London.
