The UK Customer Care Survey 2008 is being conducted by the Customer Care Alliance. The purpose of the survey is to collect participants' experience and opinion of customer services and complaint handling in the UK.

Participants' responses in this survey are anonymous. No personal details will be forwarded or shared with companies or organisations identified in this study. Participation in the survey is optional and respondents may decline to answer a specific question or drop out of the survey at any time.

Any personal data (e.g. name or email address) will NOT be published in any reports and publications arising from this study. Data from this study may be forwarded or shared with other organisations, but this will not include the personal data.

Use of email Address
All participants who enter the prize draw are asked to provide their name and email address. These details will only be used for the purpose of conducting the prize draw.

If a participant opts in to take part in future surveys, members of the Customer Care Alliance may email the participant about a future survey. Details on how to opt-out of further communications will be provided in all emails sent.

Prize Draw Rules

The promoter of the Prize Draw is Surveylab Limited, 25 Pond Lane, Drayton, Norwich, NR8 6PP - a member of the Customer Care Alliance. Any questions about these Rules should be emailed to

By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to the Rules set out below:

  1. The Prize Draw is free to enter. You can only enter once. You must be a resident of the UK and be aged 18 or over.
  2. The closing date for entry is 31 August 2008.
  3. There will be one winner of the Asus Eee laptop computer (value £200), chosen in a random draw. The winner will be notified within one week of the date of the draw.
  4. An email will be sent to the address supplied to notify the winner and delivery address details will be requested. If address details are not supplied within 21 days of notification, Surveylab may draw a substitute winner.
  5. After supplying address details, the winner will be sent the Asus Eee laptop, or, at the sole discretion of Surveylab, another prize of equal value.
  6. Surveylab cannot and does not accept any responsibility for late or corrupted entries for any reason (e.g. failure of software or internet connection).
  7. The Prize Draw is not open to anyone directly or indirectly involved in the running or promotion of the Prize Draw including all the employees (and their families) of Consumerdata, Customer Care Measurement & Consulting and Surveylab.
  8. Surveylab reserves the right in its sole discretion to exclude any person from the Prize Draw at any time.
  9. Surveylab's decision will be final and binding.
  10. These Rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
