The Employee Survey at FLI Carlow

We chose Surveylab because other parts of the FLI group in England were using them, so we consolidated our surveys with one company. This happened before I started in my role. In fact, I took over the survey just a week before the survey launched and Surveylab were brilliant: within a week we were ready to go. They're great at getting it out there.

The value added by using Surveylab's services was in helping us to improve engagement and job satisfaction scores between the first and second year of the survey.

Our scores are pretty high but we have found areas to work on and we're really happy with that. The survey gives us a good idea of how staff are feeling and what things need to be fixed.

I would recommend Surveylab because they're friendly and approachable and nothing is too much trouble. I have my own ideas – and they use their experience to help me update the questions. I trust them to give me the right advice.

Also, the way they compile their reports is easy to understand. We have such a varied employee base and we need the results to be understandable across the board.

And I'd add that, although Surveylab's reports have all the detail that is needed by senior management, it is easy for me to cut out and share the in-depth material our managers need and delivering the results to the general staff. The report is set up so it's easy to do that. All the work is done for you!
