What’s it really like to work ‘here’? (Part 1)
8 July 2024Understanding Employee Ownership (+ a free survey offer)

Today is EODay – raising awareness of employee ownership with many organisations and supporters celebrating becoming employee owned or moving towards EO.
On LinkedIn, there are a few posts about how a company can become employee owned and some of the benefits. EO organisations frequently have improved wellbeing and productivity – in part because of the employee feedback and innovation that EO promotes.
There is an amazing community brought together by the EOA offering guidance and support for EO. It ties up with all the good things around better working, engagement, B-Corp and corporate social responsibility (and more…)
I met Chris Maslin, founder of Go EO, last year and we’ve been talking employee surveys for EO and how they can help inform where the company and its people are at – whether just starting out with EO or completed their transfer.
A Survey to understand EO for your Business
Chris and I have been working on a new (and free) survey tool for EO. It’s in beta testing now (21st June).
This survey isn’t all encompassing – it’s aimed at a quick and easy baseline to help understand how EO sits in your organisation, is it understood, and are some of the basics like communication/employee voice in place?
Launch your survey now!
Our plan is to launch a free version where you can sign-up with a few basic details, receive your survey link and share this with your employees. If you’d like to join our beta programme meanwhile
Update 22nd July: You can get your survey up and running in just a couple of minutes here:
https://secure.surveylab.co.uk/goeo-registration/
- Sign-up on the registration form to receive a link for your organisation’s employee survey.
- Share this link and promote the survey …
- Once the responses are in, we will prepare a summary report of all the results.
We also have a short video tour of the survey tool and the reports output on LinkedIn.
